For work you will need:
• Candle. It can be of any size, color and shape, the main thing is not to gel.
• Beads. The choice of beads also depends on your preferences and the creative idea that you want to implement.
• Wire. Beads will be strung on it, so its thickness should be appropriate. Alternatively, you can use a fishing line or thread. The advantage of wire is that it can be bent as you need.
• Marker pen and pen. First, check from the bottom of the candle whether a marker or marker is erased from its surface.
• Hair dryer. It is necessary in order to slightly soften ("melt") the wax or paraffin. Using an open flame, such as another candle, is not recommended, as your working candle may become smoky and turn black.
First, with a felt-tip pen, we draw on the candle the pattern or ornament that you want to implement.
Using an empty rod from a pen or other sharp, but not too thin object, repeat the pattern so that small "grooves" are formed where the beads will fit.
At one end of a small piece of wire we tie a knot and string the beads.
We attach the wire with beads to our drawing and squeeze a little into the candle, but not so much that it does not begin to crumble.
Turn on the hair dryer and hold it for a few seconds over the area of the candle that is in operation.
Once again, gently squeeze the beads into the already softened wax. Make sure that the beads do not lean sideways if this is not part of your plans.
Slowly pull the wire by the bundle.
Again we string the beads and repeat the familiar “procedure” until we finish the drawing.
Thus, you can create themed candles for different holidays: New Year's - with the image of spruce branches and Christmas decorations, Easter - with willow and Easter eggs, by Valentine's Day - with hearts. It is simple, fast and unique.
