To realize this original idea in practice, you will need 7-8 meters of a steel chain 8 mm thick and a welding machine - well, or as an option, you can use the help of a familiar welder. By the way, this homemade product does not have to fulfill the function of a chair. It can be, for example, a small table on which you can put a beautiful vase. In general, it all depends on your imagination.
What should be done and how?
First of all, you need to make a simple design (something like a machine conductor), which will keep the chain in a taut state. For this, a wooden block of the desired length and several screws are suitable.
To make the legs of the chair, you need to weld together the links of four segments of a chain 75 cm long. Having boiled well one side of the chain, you need to repeat the same operation on the other side. After this, you need to weld eight pieces in the same way 25-30 cm long - these will be the jumpers of the structure.
Put on a flat surface parallel to each other two pieces of 75 cm and one 25 cm - perpendicular to get the letter "P". All this needs to be welded. Before welding, be sure to set an even angle so that there is no skew. From the upper part of the U-shaped structure, measure 40-50 cm and weld the crossbar from a short length of the chain (25-30 cm). After that, it is necessary to weld the vertical stand. The same thing needs to be done with the second half, and then put everything together to make a solid frame.
To strengthen the design, it will be necessary to prepare eight more chain segments, install them in the spacer of the lower legs and weld - so the product will receive additional rigidity. At the final stage, you need to prepare a worktop with dimensions of 40X40 cm and four pieces of wooden platbands for the "sides", and then paint it all with gold paint from a spray can.
