This hack is quite controversial, is it worth it to bother if you can put anything under the door and thereby fix it, but the idea of using a standard tool for other purposes is interesting.
For the latch you will need a workable gun for sealant, a pair of pieces of a corner, a steel plate and two studs. A platform is made from the corner, to which a plate is welded from the end, and on the other hand, the working part of the gun. The studs are screwed into the nuts from opposite sides of the fixture towards each other.
The master who made this lock used it for the interior door, but a number of questions arise regarding the use of this “device”. Firstly, the studs can leave a mark on the surface of the door, and secondly why it was necessary to spoil the working gun, it is better to figure out how to use it after a breakdown.
