The Bulgarian is a very practical and convenient construction tool in many respects, but you can make it even more perfect if you refine it a bit. Moreover, in order to put this idea into practice, a minimum of materials and time will be required.
Modernization of angle grinder
First you need to make a steel U-shaped "nozzle", which will be mounted on the metal housing of the grinder (next to the protective casing). This device is rigidly fixed with a bolted connection. Then you need to prepare a wide steel plate with curved edges, which will be used in the future as a sole, and securely weld it to the metal "nozzle".
As a handle, you can use a square profile pipe of suitable section, which must be welded to the “sole” on the side opposite from the grinder. It is not necessary to weld the handle to the plane of the steel plate itself, but to its curved edges, so that it is convenient to hold onto it by hand.
On this, the process of modernizing the grinder can be considered completed. Thanks to this design, now you can make the most accurate and accurate cuts - the advanced configuration of the angle grinder allows you to work with the grinder by analogy with a hand circular saw. It is very convenient and, most importantly, safe.
Another advantage of this revision is that the grinder can be used both as a manual power tool and in a stationary position. The step-by-step upgrade process is shown in detail in the video.
