If for some reason electricity is not connected to the summer cottage and main gas is not supplied, and there is no electric generator at hand, then it is not necessary to spend time preparing or heating firewood to make firewood or make a fire.
There is an alternative option - to make a homemade gas stove from a conventional steel pipe. Such a budget solution will be appreciated by avid summer residents and gardeners (especially pensioners), who spend a lot of time outside the city, since the cost of this device is extremely small - you will not need to use expensive materials to make a homemade gas stove.
The main stages of work
For this homemade product you will need a piece of steel pipe with a diameter of 120 mm and a length of 35 cm. Next, we mark out the bottom of the workpiece and use a grinder to cut out triangular plates - the resulting teeth are needed to install the pipe into the ground (as an option, you can simply weld steel pins from a round rod or fittings).
At a distance of 3 cm from the top edge, it is necessary to drill 4-5 holes for air access, and below (approximately at a distance of 10 cm), you need to make another hole of a larger diameter under the burner nozzle. Also, from a steel round timber, it will be necessary to make a mount in the form of a “slingshot” for a gas spray and weld it to the pipe.
We install the pipe, fix the can and the home-made gas stove is ready for use. See the video on our website for the step-by-step process of manufacturing this device.
