For the manufacture of this home-made clamp, it will require trimming of a profile pipe 25x25 mm, pieces of a rectangular profile 20x20 mm, a sleeve of reactive thrust of a car, and also a bolt with an M8 nut. As you can see, the materials are affordable and inexpensive, so everyone can make such a clamp.

The main stages of work

First of all, using an angle grinder or a band saw, it is necessary to cut the workpieces of the required size. Then proceed to the welding work. The basis of a home-made clamp is a piece of profile 20x20 mm, to the bottom of which we weld a section of a profile pipe of the same section, length 130 mm.

From the other two sections of the 20x20 mm profile, we weld the movable part of the L-shaped clamp. Then we cut two pieces from a profile pipe 25x25 mm 30 mm long: one needs to be welded to the movable part, and the second to the main fixed part.

Next, we weld two more segments of the profile 25x25 mm, which will connect the movable part with the clamp frame. We cut a piece 25 mm long from the sleeve, insert a hairpin or a segment of the M14 bolt into it and scald it on one side, and simply cut it off on the other. The resulting disc will be used as an eccentric.

At the last stage of work, we cut off two plates from a strip of 25 mm, in which we drill one hole, - we connect them with an eccentric using a bolt with an M8 nut. Then the handle is welded to the eccentric, after which it is necessary to weld the eccentric to the movable part of the clamp with a sponge.
