For example, from the brake disc and crankshaft you get an original stand. Besides the fact that it can be used as an interior item, it is also a stylish gift for everyone who has a car.
The brake disc can be used as the base of the structure, and the crankshaft itself will serve as a rack. You will also need a round steel plate, which is installed on the "crown" of the crankshaft. A circle of wood or plywood will then be attached to it.
The main stages of work
First of all, it is necessary to clean the brake disc from the car with a grinder in order to “refresh” it, so to speak, and give it a more presentable appearance. Five through holes of small diameter need to be drilled in a metal plate.
In the next step, it will be necessary to connect the brake disc to the crankshaft by welding. A round plate should be welded to the top of the stand rack. Previously, it is also desirable to clean it from rust with a grinder.
At the last stage of the work, you will need to glue two pieces of plywood (or you can use a board), and then cut a "pancake" of a suitable diameter. And then the master fastens it to a round plate.
