We bring to your attention the idea - how to make a Christmas engraving of a gift mug with your own hands. Such an original gift will be appreciated.
To implement this idea, the following materials will be required: masking tape, paper scissors and a paper stencil with a pattern. You will also need an electric engraver with an abrasive nozzle for grinding, well, the mug itself.
The main stages of work
First of all, it is necessary to cut out a paper stencil of the required size, then make several slots on the sides (for a more snug fit), and fix it on the inside of the glass mug with masking tape.
At the next stage, you need to turn on the electric engraver, and you can start engraving according to the pattern of the stencil. It doesn’t have to be a snowflake - you can use any other picture of your choice.
After engraving, remove the stencil and wipe off the dust on the surface of the mug. If any defects are found, they can be carefully corrected by an engraver. You need to work carefully so that the lines are even.
