A simple homemade mini bender for copper pipes can be useful to all craftsmen whose work is associated with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. However, this device in everyday life can also be useful.
With the help of a mini bender, not only copper tubes, but also brass or aluminum can be bent from the bearing. And to make such a device is not difficult at all.
Of the basic materials, a piece of a profile pipe 25 * 25 mm, a stud M10, nuts M10 and a piece of profile 15 * 15 mm are required.
The first step is to cut the outer bearing race in half. The inner should remain intact - in it you need to make a small slot with a grinder to insert later and weld the nut.
The process of manufacturing a mini bender
At the next stage, it will be necessary to weld two pieces of the profile pipe 25 * 25 mm, so that in the end a T-shaped part is obtained.
Next, you need to drill a hole in the nut, which is welded to the inner race of the bearing so that the M10 pin passes freely into it. Then two more nuts are screwed onto the hairpin (they need to grind the outer edges), and all this is welded together.
It is necessary to weld a half of the outer race of the bearing to the T-shaped workpiece from the profile pipe, which will serve as a stop.
At the last stage, the stud is inserted into a piece of profile 15 * 15 mm, fixed with two nuts, and the profile pipe itself is welded to the main structure. After that, it remains only to grind everything out with a grinder.
