Sometimes you have to side by side with very noisy neighbors and endure their antics until late at night. However, you can make them a "pleasant surprise." Surely, in the early morning the neighbors will appreciate it.
The author himself calls his creation a "woodpecker." Such a name fully justifies its functional purpose, and the shape of the homemade product really looks like a woodpecker.
To make a "surprise", the author uses a finished part from some kind of mechanism. However, you can assemble woodpeckers practically "from scratch", using different improvised materials for this.
The main stages of work
With the help of a grinder, the author "divides" the workpiece into pieces, and then welds them in such a way as to produce a trunk and a long tail.
After this, the welds must be cleaned with a grinder. Next, the master welds a hex nut to the top of the part.
At the last stage of the work, it remains only to weld all the parts together: a spring is welded to the metal clamp, and the body of the woodpecker is welded to it. You need to weld a bar to the nut (this will be the beak).
