In this review, the author offers the idea of how to make a simple conductor with your own hands for the quick manufacture of wooden handles. The design of the conductor is not complicated, so making it is not difficult.
The pens themselves can be used for chisels and other tools in the home workshop or garage. To make a home-made jig, the author uses plywood.
It should be noted that the conductor itself is designed to work on a band saw. Using it, you can quickly cut octagonal or pentahedral wooden handles.
The main stages of work
First of all, the author cuts off a piece of rectangular plywood - this will be the base of the conductor. Along the edges you need to fix two more plywood blanks.
The author drills holes in the side walls, into which he then bolts. The ends of the bolts will first need to be grinded onto a cone on a grinding machine.
Between two bolts the workpiece for the handle will be fixed. You also need to focus, one side of which is sawn at an angle of 45 degrees.
The emphasis itself is located between two pieces of plywood glued to the base. Another plywood blank is screwed on top. The conductor is ready.
If you focus, one side of which will be sawn at an angle of 54 degrees, then it will be possible to make pentahedral pens.
