In this review, the author shares his own idea of how to make a simple universal bracket for fixing the TV to the wall using improvised materials.

For the manufacture of a home-made bracket, profile pipes, pieces of a metal corner, and also steel plates will be required.

The first step is to make a frame that attaches directly to the wall. To do this, first 4 pieces of a corner 25x25 mm 50 cm long are cut, they are welded in pairs.

Between the welded corners (at the edges), the author welds two jumpers from the profile pipe 20 * 20 mm.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author makes two corners (the TV itself will be attached directly to them). The corner in this case is 25 * 25 mm. And to the corner, approximately in the middle, an “ear” is welded.

From pieces of a metal strip, the author made limiters for adjusting the angle of inclination. All holes in the parts are for a bolt with a diameter of 8 mm.

At the last stage, it will be necessary to make a couple more parts from the profile pipe, which will be attached to the main frame, and corners to them.

Then it remains only to polish the metal, primer and paint. In this case, the author uses black paint with a matte tint.
