In this review, the author shows how to make a scooter from a chainsaw engine and a angle grinder. It will also be necessary to prepare profile pipes and spare parts from an old bicycle.
First of all, the master cuts the profile pipes in size. It will take 2 long segments and four short ones.
From the pieces of the profile pipe, it is necessary to weld the base of the scooter. To do this, the author connects two long segments using short, welded perpendicularly.
Then it will be necessary to weld a frame with a fork from an old bicycle to the base. We clean the welds with a grinder and a flap wheel.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author installs a large asterisk from the bicycle on the rear wheel of the scooter.
Then the master sets the wheels on their "seats". For the steering rack, he uses a piece of steel round pipe of suitable length. The wheel is also used from a bicycle.
Next, the gear unit is assembled. The author fixes the angle grinder to a thick plate. A small sprocket is mounted on the gearbox shaft. We weld the gear unit to the base.
At the last stage, it remains only to install the chainsaw engine. Then we paint all the metal elements, we fix the platform for the legs, and the scooter is ready.
