In this review, the master shows how to make a useful homemade product for the home workshop - a metal cutting machine based on a grinder (angle grinder).
For the manufacture of a machine bed, the author uses pieces of a building corner. Homemade is very simple - anyone can do it.
The first step is to weld a rectangular frame of four pieces of the corner. Then, a sleeve with bearings and a shaft must be welded to the base.
After that, the author welds together two pieces of the corner. A grinder is attached to them. The resulting part will need to be welded to the bed. From a round pipe, the master makes a L-shaped handle.
The main stages of work
The next step is to install the spring. It is needed to quickly return the angle grinder (angle grinder) to its original position.
Then, two corners must be welded to the base parallel to each other (there should be a small gap between them).
These corners are needed in order to establish a rotary thrust plan, which is also made of a construction corner.
At the last stage of the work, it remains only to polish the parts and paint them with spray paint.
