In this review, the author shows the manufacturing process of a homemade device that is designed to fix a car wheel.
To make this homemade product, the author uses pieces of a profile pipe, loops and pieces of metal strip.
The first step is to cut off two workpieces: a piece of a profile pipe 30 * 30 mm and a section of a profile 25 * 25 mm, which should be included in the first workpiece.
Then the author cuts off two more pieces of the profile 30 * 20 mm. They need to be welded to previously cut workpieces.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, it is necessary to cut off two plates, and weld them to the profile pipes, as shown in the photo below.
Then we cut two pieces of a profile pipe of rectangular cross section. On one side, we weld plugs from a strip of metal or plate.
It will also be necessary to weld furniture hinges to the rectangular pieces of the profile.
Strips of metal still need to be welded to these blanks - also using loops.
After that, we weld pieces of a rectangular profile pipe to the main structure.
In the 25 * 25 mm profile, three holes need to be drilled so that you can adjust the adapt to different wheel sizes. We drill one hole in a professional pipe 30 * 30 mm.
At the last stage, it remains only to clean and paint all the details.
