In some situations, craftsmen use grinding tips with Velcro for manual grinding (well, you never know - suddenly there is no electricity, but you need to grind it).
To make it convenient to use the grinding nozzle, the author decided to make a holder with his own hands. The material is wood.
First of all, using a core drill, it will be necessary to drill two round billets of suitable diameter from a piece of wood or plywood.
They need to be sanded, and then glued together. In this case, the author uses PVA carpentry glue. We insert a bolt into the central hole in the workpieces, then fix it with a nut.
The main stages of work
After the workpiece is glued together, the author processes it on a lathe, giving it a conical shape. If there is no lathe, you can get by with a homemade machine.
We recommend reading: mini wood lathe from a drill from improvised means.
Grind and paint the finished pen (or you can treat it with mineral oil). Then the master inserts an adapter for the grinding nozzle into the hole. You can "put" on the glue.
Then we wind the nozzle, and we can proceed to grinding the workpieces made of wood or metal.
