With this gun, you can feed a mixture of concrete into very narrow cracks, seams or crevices. The design is a screw pump, which is driven by a screwdriver or drill. Concreting narrow channels anywhere is no longer a problem.
Necessary Details
To make such a screw gun you will need:
- A piece of metal pipe.
- Thick steel wire.
- A wide-necked plastic bottle.
- Cap from a regular plastic bottle.
- Spout from sealant tube or construction adhesive.
Making a concrete feed gun
We cut the steel wire about 0.5 m long.
Clamp two steel wires in a vice in parallel and wind one onto the other. It will be a screw. The operation is very laborious, as the thick wire bends very hard.
Tip: to bend the wire better, it must be annealed.
You will have to clamp the twist several times in a vise, winding all new turns of the coil.
It should be such a screw. The turns should not be close to each other.
We insert the auger into the pipe. Check how tightly one enters the other. If it’s free, you need to take the pipe less.
A couple of times we clamp the screw in a vice in parallel - this action will make it straight.
Saw off the extra tail of the winding on one side and the other. Moreover, the central core on one side should protrude more, since it will be clamped into the chuck of a drill or screwdriver.

On emery, grind all sharp corners.
Now we measure the pipe along the length of the screw.
We saw off the excess with a hacksaw.
Take a bottle with a wide neck. They sell milk or yogurts in these. And we make a through hole in the pot along the diameter of the pipe.
We insert the pipe. The denser the better.
Marker with a marker to make a semicircular hole in the pipe.
We cut a semicircular hole with a hacksaw. Grind all sharp edges of the pipe on an emery.
Insert the pipe into the bottle.
Cut the bottom of the bottle with an office knife.
The junction of the pipe with the bottle is glued with hot glue on both sides.
Now it's time to make a nose. But before that, it is necessary to thread at one end of the pipe. Clamps the pipe in a vise and cut the threads with a tap. We try to tighten the nut.
Now we take a cover from a plastic bottle and a nozzle from unnecessary building glue or sealant. We drill a hole in the cap under this spout.
Insert.
We trim the skirt of the cover so that it fits snugly into the union nut, which will be screwed onto the pipe.
Insert everything into the union nut.
We wind the nose on the pipe.
