Very often in houses and office premises you can see beautiful balls of flowers, fabric or coffee beans, which are fixed on a stick and placed in pots. These are the topiary. They are the original decoration of any room and can be very different. You can make a topiary of a certain subject. For example, according to the seasons, the color of the interior, the interests of the person and other parameters.
Today we will make spring topiary from fabric and satin ribbons. To work, you need such components:

- green flowerpot with stand;
- stick 25 cm long;
- green cloth;
- cotton swabs;
- multi-colored satin ribbons 5 cm wide;
- ordinary newspapers;
- yellow gouache;
- colored paper (in our case, green);
- threads;
- plasticine;
- beads;
- thermogun;
- a candle;
- matches.

To start, make a ball. To do this, take the old unnecessary newspapers and form them in a tight lump, and so that the layers do not crumble, we fasten them with a thread.

Then glue the ball with green paper.

We cut the fabric into 8-10 cm squares. To prevent the edges from disheveling, they need to be scorched by candle or lighter fire. In total, 50 green squares will be needed. 3 .jpg
Now these blanks will be glued to the ball. But first, each of them needs to be folded 2 times into a small triangle and only then glued to the ball by the corner, using a thermal gun.

We will make flowers from satin ribbons of pink and raspberry color. Cut the petals, scorch the edges and glue them in color on a cardboard circle. Such tender lush flowers come out.

We glue them between the green cloth, and in the center we fix a beautiful mother-of-pearl bead.

Also on the ball you can stick a small bright hat made of colored cardboard, narrow ribbons and beads.

We place crocuses at the bottom of the spring topiary. We will make them from purple, yellow and white satin linen.
Cut 6 oval petals and glue on a cotton swab.

The middle of the stick is painted with yellow paint.

It turns out pretty tender crocuses.

We take a flowerpot, put the stick in the center, fixing it with plasticine. We stick crocuses in plasticine and decorate with green squares.

Stick the stick too with a green cloth and place on it a ball with flowers and a hat. Everything is perfectly fixed with a thermal gun.

Spring Topiary is ready!

It will look very beautiful on a table, on a shelf, on a windowsill or on a bedside table. Advice:

- to reduce the amount of work, you need to buy a ready-made ball of foam and paint it with green gouache;
- Instead of satin ribbons, you can use bright corrugated paper, beautiful flowers are also obtained from it;
- crocuses are far from the only option; snowdrops or tulips will look no worse;
- it is better to use orange fabric in the decoration of autumn topiary, and white fabric in winter;
- in winter topiary snowflakes rather than flowers would be more appropriate;
- if the theme is autumn, the tree can be decorated with various gifts of nature (cones, acorns, leaves and others);
- summer topiary can be decorated with funny birds and butterflies from corrugated paper.
