Volumetric soft compositions can decorate any room. Their unusual texture will fill the interior with a contrast of color and shape, help emphasize the individual style of the owner, will be a spectacular transition between zones or simply a hallmark of the room, its dominant.

Such a picture are these cute cats from felt. To make such a composition you need not so many materials, namely:
• black felt;
• white elastic fabric (a regular men's or women's t-shirt is also suitable);
• a piece of flat plywood;
• black threads for knitting (preferably with sequins);
• several small buttons on the leg (the color scheme is the same);
• waterproof adhesive for leather or shoes;
• Double-sided tape;
• scissors;
• needle and thread for sewing.

In this case, the plasticine modeling board became the rigid foundation of the picture. It is made of polystyrene, has a smooth surface, as well as the same and even sides (A4 format).

We tighten it with white fabric, the sides of which are sewn with thread on the back.

They should be connected in pairs so that various kinds of deformations do not occur.

Only the thread is able to hold the fabric in a taut state, no glue can not withstand such a load. And the front side of the product due to proper processing looks very neat, smooth and in general, does not have any defects.

For now, we leave the wrong side unchanged and proceed to create silhouettes from felt. First, draw the outline of the kittens on paper, painting all the necessary details in black.

Then on the reverse side we apply strips of adhesive tape and glue this pattern to our fleecy fabric.

Thanks to the adhesive tape, the fabric is tightly fixed and does not move out, which makes the cutting process easy and quick.

Do not worry about the position of the kittens (after all, now all the details are mirrored), the scotch tape is very easy to remove from the fleecy surface, after which they can again be returned to their original position.

Now lay out the image on the fabric. You should not try to achieve perfect similarity with the picture, it is natural that the felt takes a slightly different shape, but the picture does not cease to be original from this.

If the position of the objects on the canvas suits you, we begin to glue the kittens. Apply glue in small portions (in the form of drops) and glue gently on the fabric.

It is very important not to press the parts down strongly, otherwise the glue will leak out from all sides and spoil the picture. This is especially true for the antennae.

Put the frame again with the needle, fixing the thread in the corners of the image.

We bring the end to the wrong side and tie a strong knot.

And now, when all the work from the wrong side is finished, we also bring it into proper form. To do this, just glue all the strings with a sheet of white paper.

It is better to sew the loop to the fabric, because the glue (or tape) will not hold it well and the picture may fall over time.

It remains to hide each joint on the frame on the front side with the selected buttons. They should be prepared (cut off the legs) and again glued with glue.
