In the world of jewelry a huge number of copies, for every taste. But handmade jewelry is especially appreciated. Today I want to share with you the technology of manufacturing a leather necklace and bracelet. Costs of time and finance are minimal. So we will prepare the materials and tools, and get to work.
To make a headset we need:
- pieces of leather or a substitute;
- pellets (we also call them pebbles);
- beads;
- cardboard;
- black cord;
- cardboard base for towels;
- pearl paints (I used the budget option - nail polish);
- silicone glue;
- double sided tape;
- acrylic varnish.
First of all, you need to prepare the pebbles - clean, rinse under running water and degrease.

If desired, hieroglyphs can be applied on large stones with a marker. The photo shows how to do this, but I did not really like the final result, so at the end of the work I painted over them.

According to the shape of the pellet, cut a piece of leather 1 - 1.5 cm more. You can glue pebbles on the skin with silicone glue, and then cut it out.

Cut the strips of leather 1 cm wide, fold them in half and glue them. As a result, we get a leather lace that needs to be glued around the stone, making a side. If you have very flat pellets, then the lace needs to be made thinner. The side should not be higher than the stone. Do not rush to cut the tip of the lace.

Glue beads next to the pebbles.

Loose the tip of the lace (continued from the circumference of the stone) circle "snake" around the beads. Using silver nail polish and toothpicks (or a thin brush) to apply chaotic patterns on the skin.

Cut cardboard into the shape of leather blanks.

We paste the cardboard on the lining.

We wrap the edges of the lining on cardboard and also glue it - this is our foundation. We cut the black cord into 4 parts 60 cm long. Then we apply the cord to the base, coated with glue.

And glue on top our beautiful, leather blanks.

Here's what happened.

Cut a strip of skin 30 cm long and 4 cm wide. Cut along the entire length (from the upper left corner to the lower right corner) and get two long triangles. On the edge of the wide edge, put a knitting needle and twist. It should be such a bead.

On both sides of the beads we knot. A little further (approximately at a distance of 5 - 7 cm) is another knot and at the ends another knot. We tighten the free ends with a flat knot macrame. Top the finished product with varnish and let dry.

Now we begin to make a bracelet. I took the basis for kitchen towels, cut two rings of 5 cm high and cut them on one side.

Using double-sided tape, adjust the size of the bracelet.

We glue the bracelet with leather on the outside and inside. Glue the stones and arrange them according to the principle of a necklace. We varnish, let dry, and get such a headset.
